Trick Sequences to Music

Do you enjoy doing activities with your dog that keep them happy and calm?

Do you want new ways to enrich your dog’s life?

Does your dog seem to light up when learning new tricks?

Have you succeeded in teaching your dog tricks, and now you’re keen to level up your trick training to make it even more fun?

Maybe your dog react to other dogs, meaning that you are excluded from most fun activity classes.

This is for you!

I know what it feels like to want to teach your dog something, but to have no clue how to start…

Before I was a dog trainer, I didn’t know any of this stuff – in fact, I probably knew way less about dog training than most of you do!

I wanted to teach tricks and do awesome fun things with my dog, but had no idea where to start.

YouTube was okay, but didn’t help me out of difficulties when I (or my dog) got stuck during training.

Instead of having to feel like you can’t achieve what you want, I want you to be equipped to have fun with your dog and to be able to get out of difficulties when they arise.

We bring dogs into our lives to give us joy and so that we can give them joy!

That’s why I want to host this learning for you – to make you a more confident trainer so that you can experience as much joy with your dog as possible.

Frances is so helpful and such a pleasure to work with… Jensen and I are a happy team and getting happier every day thanks to Frances.”

Can my dog participate?

Prerequisites:

– Your dog must already know 4 or more cues…(sit, lie down, shake, come, wait…things like that)

– Your dog must be over 6 months old.

Both confident and reactive dogs will be accommodated. If your dog is reactive to dogs, they will be able to participate without seeing other dogs. They will be one dog in class at a time.

If your dog is anxious and reactive towards humans, this is NOT for them.

I feel like this is too advanced for me!

Think of it this way: Every day, we encounter things that we don’t know how to do – things that feel too advanced for us.

But if someone breaks those things down into steps that we can do, then suddenly the whole picture that used to daunt us feels achievable!

An entire trick sequence to music is advanced. But all of the easy little steps that make it up are super easy…meaning that no matter how uncoordinated you feel, and no matter how mind boggling the big picture might look, you will be able to achieve it!

(Bonnie and I aren’t anything special. We just know how to break things down so that we can achieve the end result.)

What You Get:

  • The benefit of accountability which keeps you having fun. When you are doing anything fun, it is easy to lose joy in that thing when you have no particular goal in sight. Having classmates and a trainer means that you will be inspired to keep doing the thing you enjoy because you have someone to show your progress to each week! You have something to aim for!
  • Answers when you get stuck or when you want to teach something complicated.
  • Learning New Tricks:
You and your dog will learn advanced level tricks, refine basic ones, and learn how to string them together seamlessly to create a fun sequence!
  • Sequencing Tricks to Music:
The content is designed to be flexible for you so that you can enjoy it whether you prefer to learn how to tell a story using music as the background while your dog acts out the story, or whether you prefer to learn how to dance to music with your dog dancing as well.It will be flexible to your own personal taste!
  • Dog Fitness:
We will work on doggy fitness to ensure that your dog can perform tricks (especially the fancy ones) safely.
  • Your Skills as Your Dog’s Trainer:
We will also hone your skills as your dog’s sequence partner so that you can have confidence in training. When you know how to get your dog to stay focused on you and controlled in their movement, completing an entire sequence will suddenly feel achievable!
  • Choreography and Music Skills:
And of course, you will learn how to choreograph your own trick sequences to music so that your creative juices can flow successfully!
